The site is characterized by humid environments, rich in vegetation typical of shady and cool areas, and by diverse fauna including amphibians, insects, and small mammals.<br \/>\nFrom a geological perspective, the biotope crosses terrains formed by Miocene continental conglomerates, shaped over time by water erosion, which has created a landscape of great charm and scientific value.<br \/>\nThe Acqua Caduta nature trail is an easy route suitable for everyone, approximately 2.4 kilometers long with a modest elevation gain, ideal for nature walks and outdoor educational activities.
