{"id":6523,"date":"2026-05-13T13:45:27","date_gmt":"2026-05-13T11:45:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/visitsandaniele.it\/sd-luogo\/square-iv-november\/"},"modified":"2026-07-17T11:12:19","modified_gmt":"2026-07-17T09:12:19","slug":"square-iv-november","status":"publish","type":"sd-luogo","link":"https:\/\/visitsandaniele.it\/en\/sd-luogo\/square-iv-november\/","title":{"rendered":"Piazzale IV Novembre"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Until 1847, this part of the city was a private &#8220;Braida.&#8221; Following a resolution of the City Council in 1846 to relieve the presence of animals in the Borgo di San Francesco, it was transformed into a market square.<br \/>\nIn 1903, construction began on the new elementary school, which now houses the Vincenzo Manzini state institute of higher education.<br \/>\nIn 1908, at the request of the state, a decision was made to build a barracks with stables, located on the current &#8220;Zanussi&#8221; sports field.<br \/>\nAfter the Second World War, the Parco delle Rimembranze (Park of Remembrance) was created in the center of the square, a memorial dedicated to the fallen of the Great War.
