At a very young age, he had his first dramatic works, Il mussulmano and Rondello e il califfo, performed in San Daniele. A friend of Ippolito Nievo and a key figure in the cultural life of the Risorgimento, he achieved national fame with Pecorelle smarrite, performed in Italy&#8217;s major theaters. A modern and innovative playwright, he worked successfully between Milan and Turin, leaving a significant mark on the history of Italian theater.
