The castle was destroyed in 1511, during the events of Shrove Thursday following the assault of the San Daniele family against the Varmo family, and remained in ruins until the late 18th century.<br \/>\nDuring the 18th century, the de&#8217; Concina family acquired the land and built the villa on the ruins of the castle, maintaining its ancient perimeter. Thus was born a typical 18th-century noble residence characterized by a fa\u00e7ade inspired by the Palladian style of Venetian villas.<br \/>\nThe complex consists of the main building and a small annex, immersed in the park and enclosed by a crenellated wall.
