Fallen Water Biotope Trail

Located in the hamlet of Cimano, this pleasant nature trail offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in the area's most authentic nature. The approximately 2.4 km long trail, suitable for all levels, begins near the Cimano cemetery and winds through shady woods and wetlands of particular naturalistic interest.

Following the Rio dell'Acqua Caduta stream, the trail leads to the evocative natural waterfall that gives its name to the biotope, a place of rare beauty and uniqueness in the Friulian morainic area. Along the way, you can observe a rich biodiversity, with numerous plant and animal species that find their ideal habitat in this environment.

Thanks to its modest elevation gain of about 50 meters and easy accessibility, the trail is an ideal destination for families with children, school groups, easy hikers, and nature photographers. The trail offers evocative views and a different atmosphere in every season, offering a relaxing experience in close contact with nature.
